The guest house we stayed in had a great location: close to the city center and next to the charming canal. We loved that the room had everything we needed, including a fridge and a great hot shower. the breakfast provided was great, but with the kitchen facilities, we could also cook our own meals for lunch and dinner, which was great to save money.

Although in our room we had all we needed and the common spaces were very inviting, the room did not seem to be soundproof from the outside. We could hear outside noises during the night, which can be disturbing.

The hotel itself used to be an old pharmacy, adding to its unique charm. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with beautiful views especially during the winter season. The hot shower was great and the fridge in the room was a convenient addition. The highlight for me was the self-catering kitchen, allowing me to cook my own meals and save some money. Having a cup of tea whenever I wanted was also a plus. The sauna was a must-try and provided a refreshing and zen-like experience.
